The Field Museum is an amazing place to visit with your family. It’s full of exhibits, activities, and things for kids to see and do. If you get hungry while visiting, try stopping at Rain Forest Cafรฉ or Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Both have locations inside the museum and are delicious options for adults. There are plenty of places close by that offer delicious food, like Andy’s Pizza, which is a quick walk down Lake Street from The Field Museum. If you need a caffeine fix, there’s also Starbucks located on Congress Parkway, two blocks west of The Field Museum’s main entrance.Another good spot nearby is Rosati’s Pizza.

They have delicious pizza and salads, but if you’re looking for something more filling, they also serve hot sandwiches. This restaurant has multiple locations around Chicago, including one less than a block away from The Field Museum. Whether it’s breakfast or dinner time, most people enjoy eating out when they visit museums. Plus, there’s always something going on at Navy Pier โ€“ from concerts to fireworks displays so you won’t be bored for long. Be sure to check it out if you want some fun in Chicago. It might not seem like much, but Navy Pier is one of my favorite places to go when I’m looking for excitement. Just remember: Chicago weather can get cold pretty fast!

So come prepared. And make sure you visit around sunset for an amazing view of downtown Chicago. My family loves to watch all of those buildings light up. They look really beautiful from across the lake. We’ll pack a picnic dinner, bring our drinks (you have to pay extra for alcohol at Navy Pier), and then grab a ride on their Ferris wheel. But don’t just take my word for it explore your idea of fun when you visit Chicago! Trust me: there’s no shortage of ways to have a good time here. So do whatever sounds best!
